The Great (sub)Divider:

Bush is Stone Walling

Civilization stones walls:

The Great Wall of China,

The Berlin Wall and its fall,

The weeping Wailing Wall,

The insulting Israeli Wall --

And holy Hadrian's Wall,

Walls around curt castles,

And many early cut cities.

Walls around all prisons:

No one likes them, walls --

The cities decline and fall,

Fallow Civilization falls:

You build a national wall

To show you are falling.

Compounds to gated towns,

A swank of wealthy ranks,

Sea walls oppose waters

That run in ripping tides,

Lathered up by storms --

In flashing floods, dyed,

Colored blood is spilling.

It's all what lies beyond

That drives a wall down:

Walls of separation fall,

Between church and state,

Let many zealots go raving:

Barbarians at these gates.

The common number divider

Of all math's primal matter

Besides simple prime is one:

The very thing in all its self -

A stone wall never crossed,

Never barbarian breached.

Bush would have built one

Down a Mason-Dixon line,

If he had been Buchanan,

To block freedom trains,

Keep property in its place,

The Great Divider, indeed.

What's in your wall-et?

What's sold in the stores,

In Wal*Mart's pocket?

Free trade's cost tirade

On demographic effects

Of free markets in labor;

Of labor's competitions

Between global nations:

Crusoe economies fall.

Bush is St. One Walling,

Wall Street went wild,

Sold off stocks n' bonds,

Knowing a bill is falling

In a bankruptcy wallow.
