Snaked Apes?  A Casting of Snakes

A crawling sense.

Medusa-head vipers

Satan as ur-snake

Garden of Eden figure

Hissing sounds you hear,

That lull you into trance,

As venom bites into you.

 

It 's all so well-oiled,

Slithering in slithy toves:

Bush the Texas Rattler,

Cheney the Strong Anaconda,

Condi the Black Moccasin,

Rumsfeld the King Cobra,

Gonzales the Copperhead,

Bolton the Coral Snake,

Feith the Asp,

And all the other snakes,

Writhing in the snake pit.
