Bombs Away on Iran.

September 6, 2006

Ellsworth personnel, bombers deployed

By The Associated Press

ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE - B-1 bombers from Ellsworth Air Force Base are
scheduled to depart early Thursday for southwest Asia.

On Tuesday, about 300 airmen from the 28th Bomb Wing of the base near Rapid City
were deployed for assignments that will last from 120 to 200 days.

Bush plans to bomb pre-emptively Iran in the next 7 weeks or so?

The attempt will be to re-create the scenario of the Missiles of October (1962),

Or the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Alternative target? Maybe hit Korea as long as the bombers are there, fired up
and ready to blow the world to kingdom come.

On whose advice?

Why does Karl Rove needs a punch to try to salvage the GoP in the fall
elections?

Note: there is no dire nor imminent threat to the security of the United States,
or even the Mideast.

This is sheerly an act that leads to what is called a War Crime: an unjustified
war of aggression.

AP story yesterday reports the Presidential legislative strategy for the fall
includes a repeal of the enforcement provisions of the Geneva Convention,
essentially nullifying the treaty.

And, yet, no one on the UN Security Council has moved to take action against the
United States? And, the US is asking the UNSC to sanction Iran because Iran
isn't complying with a treaty?

Amazing, amazing, and tragic, too.
