Death Wish?

 

In poetic comments, toward the end of the above article.

 

Does America want to die?

Bringing on the Apocalypse seems to be an administration death wish.

 

A whole new arsenal of nuclear weapons,

Willful disregard of the global warming disaster,

Corruption and fraud, waste and abuse rampant,

A building up of armed forces, reinforcing a disaster,

A firing of commanders by neo=narcissistic-cons,

A promise of budget surpluses on wishful thinking in the WSJ,

The continual and deepening assault upon civil liberties,

The restoration of torture and abuse as routine,

Assassination and murder of regime enemies,

The packing of courts with sycophantic ideologues,

The packing of government with religious fanatics,

The worship of wealth and power, aristocracy.

 

I'd wax poetic, but a litany of narrative seems warranted,

As all I can manage, appalled as I am.
