Among deadly social forces is the "high" you get from hanging them,
Your enemies bodies dangling at the end of a rope,
Their bodies swinging in the breeze,
Twisting or jerking.

We have made a science of hanging, as of all killings:
The US Army has a field manual telling us how to do it right.

But, still, we botch the job,
But only because the job itself is botched morally,
As if any hanging, any form of death, could be done properly.
