[Newspoetry] Excuse me; don't I know you? Do I?

You know yourself by what you do.

Of what use is any form of knowing?

What drives a quest, except its use?

Know you what to do with oddities?

Yourself, perhaps?  Or, maybe me?

Invent uses and knowledge follows it.

Thus, we say "they know each other",

And sometimes this is a shallow use;

Sometimes it's far more than casual,

Maybe more than mortal and carnal.

I'd like for you to know me; me, you.

There's some reason for all that is,

Even if it is only a chance affair --

For we think even chance is fated;

Inscrutable ways beyond knowing.

God throws loaded universal dice.

Every possibility is ever imagined

Before it happens to come to being -

And, whatever happens, it was thus

>From the very onset of possibility.

Living beings surprise amazed God.

Free will just chooses its universe,

>From the vast infinity of potential,

One is selected and becomes real,

Each time you choose to act it out.

You form yourself in primal mud.

Thus, God is so irrelevant to man,

In determining what is the world,

For He only created the potential,

Leaving its actual details to uses.

We know by the worlds we make.

You could be all of a world to me,

If we fixed our minds on such ends,

Making out each other as something,

Or turning nothing away into being.

Knowing makes no excuses for uses.
