So this is Christmas, and what have you done? You've gone through the rubble and found someone's son. You've been nauseated by blood and by dust and wondered aloud - just whom can you trust? Can you trust the man who has sold you kebabs? And what of your government, run by crude slobs? You've heeded the warmongers' outbursts and hid, and wished you were buying your petrol with quid. You've felt sucker-punched by their ignorance. Still, "Must Stand By Your President! Bear no ill will to the U.S. government, or you'll be deemed
un-patriotic, and never redeemed!" Anything less than complete, blinding faith in W.'s prowess as president may make you one of Them, for it's black or it's white, and you'd better choose which side you're on, tonight.

So a very merry Christmas, and a happy New Year. I hope next December you look in the mirror without too much flinching. For now, do feel free to put an American flag on your tree.
