They lasted until the end of their time,
but not until the end of their terms.

Their like we will not find among the GoP.

The present GoP senators and leaders are rats and mice,
like Mbitch McCon-(arse)-nal, Jim Demented, John McAint, --
McCorny-in, Scott BrownNose, upChuck Growsley --
Men who will do nothing for the nation
unless they and their party profit,
personally or politically, or both --
or, inversely, the nation suffers...
or insane persons like PalinAne, wrAngler, Bland_Paul,
Michael Stealth-bomber, Helly Barbarous,
Newt (Bathtub) Gin-grench,
Mitch RO-Memory (writing nothing new),
Jrebb Bush-reduxe,
John Bonerhead (a pretentious clown of pure evil),
Eerie Cantankorous (a sorely confused ideologue), etc.

If the nation suffers, then the Dems and Obama suffer --
And that, these scoundrels say, is a price worth paying,
Especially when they aren't paying the bill for the suffering,
But profit(eer)ing on the misery of the many.

Show me, I dare you, one honest Republican leader,
Other than Arnold, perhaps!

Twin Towers - Jan 20, 2009

As the two longest serving senators
in US history
collapse at the inaugural luncheon
I worry about terrorism.
When will my thoughts
at times like this
be different?

In case you are hearing the news from me - Senators Ted Kennedy and
Robert Byrd have both collapsed. As far as news reports go so far,
both are alive.
