[Newspoetry] Fiscal Crisis Comes in March.

You could hear it in Rep. Paul Ryan's response to the SotU.
 
Ryan (R-WI) is chair of the House Budget Committee.
 
He and his party will refuse to raise the debt limit of the United States,
Come March, and March Madness.
 
Markets will collapse, throughout the world,
But the GoP will gain great ground,
Provoking a needless Greek tragedy into being.
 
March is the month when the IRS normally issues tons of tax refunds,
Draining the Treasury.
But the debt crisis means you won't get your money from the IRS -
Not for a much longer time.
 
But, I digress.
 
The collapse of the global economy, and of the US, too,
Will be secretly cheered by the GoP -
As the surest bet to defeat Obama in 2012.
 
Will they do such a dastardly deed, just for petty partisan reasons?
 
Oh, yes.  Oh, yes.
