I apologize for moving a couple of decimal places in
my calculations yesterday. The truth is that the
average millionaire has an income only 70, not 7,000
times greater than the average earner (including the
millionaires themselves). But the average millionaire
receives 78 times as much as the average person
earning less than one million dollars. Five years ago,
taxes would have decreased this to about 60 times as
much. Now it only decreases it to about 64 times as
much.
