Dear MoveOn Member;

The response to our Mondale fundraising effort has been phenomenal.
The contributions are still coming in.  Stay tuned for the results.

For the next 3 days, all our focus now goes to Getting Out the Vote.
If we vote, we win.

Today we suggest you invite friends and family to your election
night party -- yet another way to remind and encourage folks to vote.
You wouldn't go to an election night party and not vote, would you?
Also it's a great way to create a good environment for yourself and
for others who care deeply about this election.  Share the ups and
downs of election night with people that you care about.

We'd like to know which of these actions are most effective in
reaching people.  We promise not to crash the party.

Today's reason to act, #3 in our election countdown, is:

Reason #3:  We owe a positive future to the children

  The current administration is pursuing policies that will leave
  an ugly legacy for many generations throughout the world. We owe it
  to children in every country to fight for peaceful resolutions
  to conflict, less power for multi-national corporations and more
  protections, rather than less for the environment. Right now,
  the Senate is leading the fight against the Administration,
  and we need to do everything we can to help them in that effort.
