Good clear thinking from Lisa.

It is obvious to me that the educational/political mission (of any 
AWARE group) is primary if it wants to change government policies. 
Changes in the behavior of our régime come if its existence is 
threatened, and that can ultimately only arise through the 
political/electoral process. Revolution ain't possible, so we have to 
figure out  how to affect/change the political configuration of the 
country. Evidently, it's an age old problem for activists.
