[Peace-discuss] yet yet another letter to the editor

I've sent this as a letter to the editor and also to Governor Blagojevich:

Why don't all the state governors get together and make a case that the billions of dollars the President and Congress want to return to taxpayers should go first to prevent cutbacks at the state level? What kind of economic stimulus will occur if the rebates from the federal government have to go immediately into increased tuition and other fees that the states are forced to enact? How can it be good for the long-term economy of the country if school budgets and healthcare and social service programs are cut? The President says his plan will create jobs, but this doesn't make much sense when so many people are going to be losing state jobs.
