Ricky, sorry I took so long to respond, but just got back from Iowa where I was with three others from this area on a campaign bus with Dennis Kucinich. We meet same time same place this Thursday. Is it too late to be at Farmers' Market, and if not, whom do we contact? Any help will help a lot. I am not sure where Dean stands today as he seems to be flip-flopping and picking up (dare I say "stealing?") Kucinich's ideas. But this was a valid comparison:

IRAQ:
Kucinich - Bring our troops home immediately and let UN take over and set up government in Iraq.
Dean - Out troops' presence and control must extended indefinitely (i.e., same old, same old.)

HEALTH CARE REFORM:
Kucinich - Single payer Universal Health Care, everybody in, nobody out, everything covered.
Dean - modify present system, but maintain control in hands of insurance companies (i.e., same old, same old.)

PENTAGON BUDGET:
Kucinich - cut the sucker 15% and make them account for over a trillion dollars for which they presently cannot.
Dean - don't touch the Pentagon budget (i.e., same old, same old.)

Any help anybody can give Dennis is sorely needed.

Chuck

Sorry I could't make the meeting. Maybe next time.
Kucinich is definitely the favorite among most other
AWARE folks, too.

By the way, I noticed the Dean folks have a table at
the Farmers' Mkt - you guys planning anyting like
that? We find a surprising number of people don't
know who Kucinich is!
