[Peace-discuss] TIMES center survey

Folks -

Fairly off the topic but very important to our town! Below is a survey
being circulated putatively to "identify issues within the neighborhood and
identify changes that have occurred over the past few years." The
underlying current is a group of folks who didn't want the TIMES center
(the men's homeless shelter) and are trying to generate something in order
to close the TIMES Center, which is located northeast of downtown
Champaign. My impression is that it is being circulated only to those
groups which the "Citizens Advisory Group" thinks will indict the TIMES Center.

If you live in the area that includes the Champaign's Sesquicentanial
Neighborhood, "MLKing and Beardsley Park. In addition, it's being
distributed to the Downtown businesses and residents, Downtown Churches and
Social Service Agencies", please consider responding!

Namaste,
Margaret
