The Chicago version of the Tribune (compared to the Midwest edition) did
have coverage on the front page but hardly a mention of the 9,000 or so
people who protested in Chicago. There was some coverage in the inside pages
of the Pantagraph from Bloomington as well. The Chciago Sun Times has
coverage on the front page, too.

The Chicago Tribune had NOTHING. The St. Louis dispatch had NOTHING.
There were protests in both cities - they didn't even cover their own
protests.
The NYTimes by far did the best of any American newspaper I saw. Even
Conservative USA Today had something, which they countered with another
article about how Iraq was "gloating" (not a slanted term is it?) over the
international support.
