[Peace-discuss] NAM and the new resolution

I wonder if this will be reported in today's news: the Non-aligned
movement summit is underway, with a call for a peaceful resolution to
the Iraq crisis marking the start. What's interesting, it seems, is
that there are 6 nations from the NAM represented in the UNSC. It takes
7 votes to defeat a resolution. So, I think this means that France
doesn't have to veto, they just have to vote against it (assuming all of
the NAM nations vote against the resolution). Good news?!?

It also sounds like there was a huge anti-war rally in Malaysia:

150k+, and it was government sponsored :)
