Dear Super Bowl contributor,

You've done it again. "Daisy" is going to the Super Bowl.
The ad will air today during the game on WJLA-TV ABC

Thanks so much.

I've attached our press release for this airing below.

ANTIWAR "DAISY" AD TO AIR DURING SUPER BOWL
"Let the Inspections Work" Banner to Fly Over San Diego

January 24, 2003

MoveOn.org, the online activist group, will air its controversial
Daisy ad remake on WJLA-TV ABC in Washington, D.C. during the
Super Bowl. Money to pay for the ad placement was raised online
from MoveOn=92s 700,000 U.S. members in the last 24 hours.

The ad, which urges the President to "let the inspections work,"
generated enormous attention and controversy when it ran in a
dozen major markets last week. Based on the famous ad from Lyndon
Johnson=92s 1964 campaign, it raises the specter of a U.S. invasion
of Iraq causing events in the Middle East to spin out of control,
risking unforeseen consequences, including the use of nuclear weapons.

In related news, a group of private California citizens were inspired
by MoveOn to arrange for aerial advertising carrying the call to
"Let the Inspections Work" to fly over the skies around the
Super Bowl this weekend.

The aerial banner will fly over Super Bowl events starting Saturday
afternoon, and near Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday. (The FAA has declared
a no-fly zone near the stadium from 11am - 10pm Sunday).

"Our message is simple: President Bush should let the inspectors
finish their job," explains Wes Boyd of MoveOn.org. "As long as
the UN team is still hard at work there's no reason to send in our
troops and unleash forces which could escalate into the overthrow
of governments, chemical and biological warfare or even the use
of nuclear weapons."

MoveOn.org is a key player in Win Without War, a coalition of
organizations including the National Council of Churches, NAACP,
Sierra Club, NOW, and others representing millions of Americans
who favor allowing UN Inspectors to finish their work in Iraq.
