[Peace-discuss] C-U Folks--Support City/Urbana Anti-War Resolution Now!!

Dear Champaign-Urbana Friends of Peace,

Grassroots support for Peace is growing.  We've collected more than 400 names of C-U and area residents in support of the Urbana City Council's Anti-War Resolution.  But our work is NOT over--the binding vote will take place on Mon, Feb 3rd, and we need YOUR support!   

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A RESIDENT OF URBANA TO SIGN ON, NOR A REGISTERED VOTER..... HOWEVER, THE DEADLINE FOR INCLUSION IS FRI, JAN 31st, @ 5 PM,  SO PLEASE RESPOND NOW!

If you're willing to go on record to support the resolution--or need more information--please email your NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER to Meridith Kruse <bmmk at soltec.net> who will compile information until the deadline--only 2 days away!! 

An AWARE representative will present these names at the Urbana City Council meeting Mon, Feb 3rd at 7:30pm.  Also, please join us at this meeting for the final vote if you can!
