[Peace-discuss] Fitzgerald visit

Brooke,

AWARE had talked about having a visible anti-war presence outside the high
school, similar to what we have on Prospect with our multiple signs and
banners, to greet both the Senator and people coming to the town hall.

I'm not sure if anyone was going to do anything inside except to challenge
Peter over and over again about why we needn't go to war.

Is there someone from AWARE who could be a point person for the above? If
the town hall starts at 1pm, then I'd suggest being outside the school by
12:15pm with signs and leaflets.

IF no one posts something here and on peace announce by Friday, then perhaps
there isn't a coordinated effort? Can anyone take this on?

Kimberlie

Hi y'all,

I know this was briefly mentioned at Sunday's AWARE meeting, but I
was wondering if AWARE or others have any plans for protest or
coordinated input at Fitzgerald's visit to Centennial High School
this Sunday?

There are a number of PRC and other folks that might be interested in
attending, but we're trying to figure out if others are planning on
doing something, if there is a central time/place to meet, etc. If
anyone has information on this, please let me know. We probably don't
have energy/resources to organize something on our own at this point,
but we'd be happy to send people along and announce it to our list if
there is something already happening.

Thanks.
Brooke.
