STUDENT ANTIWAR WEBSITE NOW ONLINE

The website for Campus Antiwar Network (CAN) is now online as of March 11,
2003 and may be viewed at http://www.antiwarnetwork.org.

Campus Antiwar Network is a grassroots bottom-up organization of
campus-based antiwar groups from over 100 colleges, high schools, and
universities nationwide.

CAN stands firmly opposed to the coming war against Iraq and the racist
crackdown on civil liberties here at home.

Furthermore, CAN calls for an end to the U.N. sanctions - which have led to
the deaths of millions of innocent Iraqis over the past decade - and demands
money for education, jobs, and health care not war.

CAN is striving to give a voice to antiwar students everywhere and its
website offers a means of bringing together the broad movement, allowing
activists to share experiences from their individual campuses and keeping
students informed about the movement nationally.

The CAN website has the all the latest information on student antiwar
organizing from across the country from local events to national
mobilization such as the student-led antiwar protests on April 5th in
Washington D.C., San Francisco, and Chicago (which CAN is organizing).

Additionally, the website contains updates on local ³day x² actions
protests that are being organized for the day after the invasion of Iraq
starts which CAN is coordinating with campuses nationwide.

As well, the website offers valuable organizing resources including CAN
produced organizing materials and links to the best antiwar educational
resources from around the net which activists can use to help get the
antiwar message out wherever they are.

The website also has contact information for student organizers at dozens of
schools from every region in the U.S. and information about CAN-affiliated
student groups that are working tirelessly to help stop this war.

anywhere on the web, please visit http://www.antiwarnetwork.org.
