Greetings - Here are two complementary efforts to stop the war.

The Uniting for Peace Campaign (initiated by the Center for Constitutional
Rights and joined by an international group of organizations and activists)
is urging France, Germany and Russia to send peacekeepers to Iraq
immediately.

At the same time, it is asking the UN General Assembly to demand an
immediate cease-fire Under Resolution 377, the General Assembly can 'Unite
for Peace' when the .Security Council is unable to act.

This petition asks France, Germany, and Russia to peacekeepers to Iraq
immediately.

This would go to all Member Countries of the United Nations asking for an
emergency meeting of the UN General Assembly to demand a cease fire and Stop
the War in Iraq under Resolution 377. This resolution dates from 1950 and
has been enacted 10 times. (The US used it to get around Soviet vetoes on
the Security Council.)

Traprock Peace Center at http://traprockpeace.org has links to both
petitions at the top of the page, as well as an 'emergency UN contact kit,
and great resources to drawn upon for your comments on the petitions and
your own faxes or emails.

Glen Rangwala, University of Cambridge (UK), has updated his 'peerless'
Claims and Evaluations on Iraq's Proscribed weapons ('Counter-Dossier II' ).

He debunks claims concerning VX chemical nerve agent and biological weapons.

Thank you.
