CIA Uncovers Muslim Plot To Take California 
-------------------------------------------------------------

At a press conference yesterday CIA directory George Tenet
presented evidence of a bold al-Qaeda plot to take over the
government of California, the most populous state in the U.S.
In essence, the aim of the plot is to channel Saudi money
through numerous small bank accounts for the purpose of
buying enough media exposure to trick the people of
California into electing al-Qaeda and Iranian clandestine operatives
to
statewide elected offices -- everything from
local school boards to the state senate and possibly even the
governor's office.  This would result in al-Qaeda control of
the state of California at all levels.   After a critical electoral
mass
was achieved, the state would declare itself to be ruled by 
the Sharia (a system of Islamic religious law) and succeed from the
Union.
Ironically enough, this would plan have the state following in the
footsteps of the
doomed Confederate States of America (of which California was
not a part) almost 150 years ago.  

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld later told the press, "we cannot
allow Iran and Saudi Arabia to be the foreign puppet masters
of the good people of California,
and we will use any means necessary to remove this threat."  When
asked how he would respond if the Islamic electoral takeover of  
California were to succeed, he replied "If we have to take out
the regime in Sacramento, we will do it as humanely as
possible, but it shouldn't come to that because Iran and Saudi Arabia
will be under control before that happens." 

When asked to comment, British Prime Minister Tony Blair expressed
his support for the American position and added that Great Britain
would continue to do what is necessary to keep the "free world
safe from terror."
