I read Goering occasionally in the Tribune, for years.
Like many international reporters, she goes around to
different places, never getting to know any very well,
and pretty much parroting the mainstream line. She was
particularly bad when she was stationed in Cuba.
Eventually, people like this move up the ladder and
stay at the home office, where they monitor the limits
of allowable debate. But I'll be interested to see
what the nature of the interaction is between her,
Inge, and the audience.
