Yesterday's News-Gazette had an unnerving guest
commentary by Doug Rokke on the actual death toll
versus the official numbers from both US wars on Iraq.
 It should get some of our pro-war friends' attention.

There are also a couple of good letters and an amazing
cartoon -- amazing for the fact that it ran in the
N-G.  It shows a US soldier with a big knife in his
back.  The soldier is saying, "Is that you, Mr.
President?" and the label on the knife reads something
like, "cuts to veterans' benefits."

Could be the cartoon was chosen to accompany Doug's
commentary.  Check it out.  It's worth a see.
