Dr. Tad Daley is a specialist on American foreign policy in the post-9/11
world, nuclear weapons issues, crimes against humanity, the United Nations
system, and human destiny in space. He spent 7 years as a member of the
International Policy Department at the RAND Corporation, the world's
largest "think tank,² another three years as chief deputy to former U.S.
Senator Alan Cranston on his tireless crusade to abolish nuclear weapons,
and ran for U.S. Congress himself in a 2001 special election in
California. The Los Angeles Weekly said: ³Tad Daley ^Ê boasts the most
impressive credentials and much the most thoughtful platform of all the 16
candidates in the race ^Ê (His political vision) is as sensible as it is
unconventional.

Dr. Daley has published articles on politics and international policy in
the International Herald Tribune, the Christian Science Monitor, the Los
Angeles Times, USA Today, the National Interest, and the Bulletin of the
Atomic Scientists. Dr. Daley will speak about a range of policy topics and
international peace initiatives, as well as about the larger purposes of
the Kucinich campaign beyond the 2004 election.
