Thanks for doing such a great job on the Kucinich Campaign!

Now that the primary is over, I want to remind you that there is a whole
party of people with the same ideas as Dennis.  Like Dennis, we're
generally ignored by the media, but that doesn't deter us from our
goals.

Currently, the Greens are actively (really actively!) involved in
setting up Citizen Police Review Panels in Champaign, Urbana, Champaign
County and the U of I.  We have a finalized plan for Urbana and plan to
work on a ballot referendum in Champaign in November.  We are building a
Champaign-Urbana 'No New Nukes' group to stop the second reactor in
Clinton and shutdown the first one.  In the last 6 months, we've met
with Illinois Power to discuss municiple energy.  We've met  with the
MTD to discuss the Tram. 

We are currently running candidates for county board and county-wide
positions (coroner, auditor, etc).  Our goal is to win 2 or 3 of the 27
county board seats.  The candidates we're running have the same
philosophy as Dennis, with the extra idea of opening up the two-party
system for other parties.  

If you want, please stop by one of our meetings. We have membership
meetings the first Wednesday of the month and "Green Tea" the third
wednesday of the month at 7pm at the IMC.

Tonight (March 17), at 7pm we are having elections for county-wide
offices.  The voting hasn't happended yet, so interested people are
still encouraged to attend.  

If you liked working to get Dennis elected, I can guarantee that you'll
like the Greens.
