As another ex-Sierra club activist I have tried to explain to Sierra Club 
officials the serious adverse environmental and health threats caused by previous 
and ongoing miltary operations not only in Iraq but in Calhoun County Alabama 
and also right here in Champaign County.  Today, the health and environmental 
effects of war and military operations are having tragic results.
