Congratulations on your successful grassroots campaign, Tom!
One more article worth reading is here:
http://www.dissidentvoice.org/Nov2004/Frank1103.htm
Sometimes I feel that Frank says what I want to say with more elegance.
Certainly the case in this instance.
I've spent several months now being scolded, forced out of my job at a
reformist peace organization, and belittled by a wide range of "activists"
who have asked me to shut my conscience up and support the morally bankrupt
candidacy of John Kerry. "Help give him a gift he doesn't deserve."
We now have a genuine moment for movement building because Nero has been
re-elected, and the world detests the American empire more than ever. As the
American Left, let us enter community with dissenters of the world.
I am so glad that this damn election and the disastrous Anybody But Bush
debacle is finallly over.
