[Peace-discuss] PRC Anti-war Workshop

Dear AWARE folks,

I hope everyone had pleasant holiday!

The PRC (Progressive Resource/Action Cooperative) is planning to present
United for a Fair Economy¹s "War and Economy Workshop" next semester.  The
War and Economy Workshop has been put together by United for a Fair Economy
for use by independent groups.  Its goal is to bring information and
awareness to attendees about the effects of war on spending in the United
States, specifically on other sectors of our economy, such as health care
and education.

This Thursday (Dec. 2nd) at 7:00 p.m. we will be having a brief presentation
of the Workshop highlighting some of its themes and activities at the
Illinois Disciples Foundation, on the corner of Wright St. and Springfield
Ave.  We are hoping members of AWARE would be able to attend, both to gain
exposure to the workshop and also to discuss a joint venture to hold a
larger, full-scale version of the workshop some time during the Spring
semester, focusing on a large, public turnout.
    
Anyone is welcome to attend this mini-workshop out, and if you have any
