Hello,
  My name is Ross Wantland, and although I haven't
worked directly with 
AWARE, I'm very supportive of your efforts in the C-U
community. On 
October 28th, the office I work for at the University
is bringing a 
producer/editor, Ronit Ridberg, from the Media
Education Foundation 
(www.mediaed.org) to screen a film on alcohol and
sexual violence. On the 
evening of the 28th, she has expressed an interest at
helping screen a 
different film from Media Ed called "Hijacking
Catastrophe", which looks at 
9/11 and how the media and government spun the event
to justify war, 
restrictions of civil rights, etc. The DVD is
approximately 64 minutes 
full, or 34 minutes abridged. For a complete

  I wanted to offer this as an event for AWARE. I'd
leave it to y'all 
to find a space and do publicity if you were
interested, but I think 
this may be a really great way to start a dialogue.
