Dear AWARE Members: (Request for posting this information was made at the AWARE meeting on 9/12/04)
Below is a sample e-mail and the message we sent to Mr. Boardman with a copy to Colleen Cook assistant manager at the ART Theater.  It is important to the entire community that we are able to view the VEYA video. Thanking Mr. Boardman may encourage his interest in allowing further opportunities for similar projects at the ART Theater to take place.  Please thank him by e-mail and let Colleen know if you do.

    Dear Mr. Boardman:
    Thank you for allowing the public to view the Documentary that was banned by UPTV and taken by the Champaign police department. I attended the showing of this video and appreciate your efforts to permit freedom of speech to prevail. Your theater is definitely a positive addition to the community. Those of us seeking knowledge of all the facts and wanting to hear all sides of this topic appreciate the ART theater and your fine staff of capable and professional assistant managers making this opportunity available to the public. Once again on behalf of the Champaign and Urbana communities thanks again for your willingness to allow the viewing of the VEYA documentary at Boardman's ART Theater.
