The "too subtle, sorry" went w/ my (attempt at) irony re mainstream media's terminology....

"Compassion Fatigue" has been used for a while, I can't claim credit.  Your piece sounds timely.  Hope you get a good turn-out.

Jenifer, I've written a piece about Compassion Fatigue, which will be  
performed by Walter Matherley and Mark Enslin, at the upcoming House  
Theater this weekend. Only I call it
'sensitivity test'. Maybe 'compassion fatigue' is a clearer  
name/analysis. I will imagine you in the audience.("too subtle,
