[Peace-discuss] who is being affected by the US occupation?

Did anyone happen to see the Channel 17 news last evening 
(November 30th)? I just happened to tune is as some person 
was saying something like "therefore it is false that the US 
troops in Iraq are mostly the poor."

I didn't hear any of the comments before this, and was just 
wondering what proof they might have given to support such a 
statement.
