Two more references on “identity politics”: The first
a short article by Martin Duberman, the second a long
article by Robin D.G. Kelley, which refers to the
Duberman article. They both refer to Todd Gitlin’s
critique of identity politics in his book Twilight of
Common Dreams (1996 or 1997).
