You make an interesting point on the peculiar absence of soi-disant
(people seem to like that phrase) feminists from this matter, Robert --
especially since it's the husband's wishes and assertions that are
accepted by the courts.  I would have thought there would have been more
disquiet about the matter -- but then I was also surprised that so few
feminists spoke against Clinton at the time of his impeachment. More
inconsistencies of identity politics, I suppose.  --CGE
