         • Carl E. critiques aspects of the prison expansion,
disparity study, CPRB, themes…, but there is consensus as to the
value of the effort.

Lehrer WILL Anniversary event: /Carl Estabrook/mkb
         • Carol I.: It's not worth it for AWARE to donate $150 to
ask a question to Lehrer. Agreed.
         • Extensive and lively discussion about whether a critical
flyer about the PBS Lehrer News Hour should be distributed which has
the AWARE imprimatur. Objections: a) it might alienate potential
friends who like/watch the News Hour, b) any such flyer should be
presented to the AWARE membership before promulgation. No consensus
reached. Carl E., Mort B. David F. Karen? express interest in
creating and passing out such a flyer at the Lehrer WILL event,
Saturday, Sept 17, 8pm Location??.
