On reflection, I think we made a mistake here.  Not only is (a)
the amount large, in comparison with the amounts AWARE spends
on other things, and (b) the goals ambiguous, as discussed,
but also (c) it's not at all clear that AWARE should be
spending money for a reception at the Lake House.  

Furthermore, this violates the principle Ken Urban set out a
while ago: in general, people who give money to AWARE should
know that it's going for AWARE activities -- and not being
given to different organizations who have access to the same
funding sources as AWARE.  --CGE
