Dear Linda,

Thanks for bringing this to the attention of AWARE, "for what it's worth."
Mr. Madden apparently is claiming that he is speaking on behalf of WEFT when
he states that "You [Randall] are so thoroughly loathed that even if you are
not recalled as a board member, you will not be permitted onto the premises
at 113 N Market Street" and when he refers to "A.W.A.R.E peacemongers (btw,
nice peace you're creating around here)." If he is not speaking on behalf
of WEFT, then I ask WEFT to issue a clarification and an apology. If he is
speaking on behalf of WEFT, then I would ask WEFT to remember that they sent
a group of board members to an AWARE meeting during their pledge drive
earlier this year and took a collection, to which many AWARE members
contributed. Randall has spoken to AWARE in support of WEFT on many
occasions, and he has shown no signs of the psychological problems
attributed to him by Mr. Madden. I have also been a paid member of WEFT for
the past two years. If a formal apology for Mr. Madden's outburst is not
forthcoming, I will not be contributing to WEFT in the future, and if WEFT
sends people to AWARE meetings asking for money, I'll be sure to remind them
of the dog that bit the hand that fed them.

Sincerely,

Phil Stinard
WEFT Member (for now)
