Hello Chas,
Mr. Madden's email came out of the blue to AWARE's Peace-Discuss list, and
since he apparently is not a list subscriber (since Linda had to forward
it), we have NO WAY of knowing what his intentions are, or who he
respresents, nor do we really care, except that if he appears to speak for
WEFT as some kind of emissary to AWARE (which is a reasonable, if incorrect,
assumption) and speaks a bunch of crap, we'd like confirmation of whether he
is indeed speaking on behalf of WEFT. You have not answered that question
to my satisfaction since you do not claim to represent WEFT. A simple
statement from WEFT board members that he does not represent the views of
WEFT or their associates WOULD be satisfactory.
