Ok, I misunderstood you.  I recall you saying something to Carl about 
"feeling it on your skin," and I assumed you were referring to the

 From your tone I'm not sure whether or not you consider me one of those 
"bullies," but please know that I agree with everything you said above.  
I do apologize if I came off as anti-veteran.  My husband is a veteran 
of the first Gulf War.  That this administration has called his anti-war 
activism "traitorous" is infuriating and hurtful.  My father was in the 
military, as was my brother.  I was young in the 70s, but I remember the 
protests.  I will continue to consider the "spitting" stories as urban 
legend until I'm shown evidence of the contrary, but this has nothing to 
do with my opinions of veterans.
