Dear Friend, What happens when committed parents, community members, university faculty, staff, and students put their heads and hearts together in the interest of equity and excellence in public education? How can we think of existing neighborhoods, schools and educational goals in new and exciting ways? What would a school that embraces and educates all its studentsunderachievers, high achievers, low income, upper income, all culturesequally well? How could we think about school design and governance in a way that maximizes parental, faculty and community involvement, while respecting the value and role of the central administration and school board? What if we could attract outstanding faculty, administrators and support staff, as well as serve as a training ground and launching pad for future educational leaders committed to excellent urban education? Clear your calendar for Thursday, December 7th, 6:00 PM and join us for an exciting
gathering of educators and community members who share your interests and commitments. Come to find out about and experience the Great Campus idea at our Open Housewe care about what you think and need your feedback.
