Frisbees would be fantastic!!!!!

How about flowers?

In the past, balloons were decided against because of the environmental 
issues (they are a hazard to wildlife, have a short use and then go to 
landfills where they do not decompose readily, and are considered a 
non-renewable resource).

My $.02, which is worth very little.
