Snopes says that Sears is doing this for its reservist employees for "up 
to" 60 months, which would be five years.

Snopes also says that Sears has been purchased by K Mart.  One wonders if K 
Mart is doing this also.  (I always did prefer K Mart to Wal-Mart, and was 
very sorry to see the Champaign Super K Mart close.)
