[Peace-discuss] Paul Kotheimer

Yes, I get a chuckle out of all conspiracy theories,
including yours. "Left" "hegemony" HA! Good one. I
remember some of your other conspiracy theories (which
I'm certain included some from your list below).
Sometimes a bit worrying, but now I see that you were
joshing all along.

But I get it: the "Chief" is a socialist icon, right?
The 'OBO' is just one small voice for the Right in a
sea of "Left" papers currently published on the UIUC
campus, which are somehow invisible to the untrained
mind?

That's why the whole student body is on strike every
time a campus union has a contract dispute, right?
Why the Chancellor can't even get any work done for
the students and workers taking over his office 10-15
days out of every month, right? Why students are
hammering down the door to get into the Coalition
Against Coke Contracts? Why they are trampling one
another to get into AWARE's student group? (Hell, we
can't even find a space big enough to meet, ever since
we overflowed the stadium! And that was just to talk
about proposed changes to Robert's Rules of Order.)

And the other "Left" groups on campus, have the same
problem, isn't that right? It's a wonder any classes
are attended at all, or sports events. Must be why
the football fans love to spell out "AWARE" in orange
and blue, right? Drives the TV announcers crazy!

And I'll bet that's even why I saw the Klan marching
on my college campus when I was a student, right?
Because the Klan is somehow "Left" too, right? That's
why Fraternity Row all came out in drives to salute us
with their middle fingers when I marched against
apartheid with the Black Student Union, right?
Because apartheid was another "Left" hegemony, right?

That's why the alumni drove by and spat on us and ran
up on the curb to intimidate us when I stood with the
Black Student Union against the rebel flag as a school
symbol, and again when I stood with the National
Organization for Women and the Black Student Union
against the official university band playing 'Dixie',
right? And the cops just stood by and watched while
white people got out of their cars and kicked our
asses? That's what you mean by "Big Brother", right?

I see: it's because of the "Left hegemony" that when I
was in college, during the First Gulf War, students
attacked an Indian couple during homecoming, finally
beating the husband's head on the sidewalk shouting,
"You filthy Iranian, you dirty Iranian!" And why
police refused to pursue charges against a bunch of
white Anglo students who beat the snot out of an
Arabic student in the toilet during that same "Left"
fest.

I get it. Explains a lot. Thanks.

Ricky

oh, send big brother. Well since the Left has total
hegemony on most university campuses, why not use big
brother in the strickly Orwellian sense. I am seeing
this more as an opportunity to "punish" the Observer
for thought crimes against the ideology of statism.
This is a personal matter between Paul Kotheimer and
Leo, (who is in China observing a Leftist paradise
right now). But typical, the Left believes that
everything that is private and personal is political.
I support the notion that yes Leo was way out of line
for the photoshop. However, i will defend the OBO and
ICU. They are brave enough to stand up in a hostile
environment in a sea of leftism where groups like the
PRC can march around bullying folks into opposing the
Chief. I do not know personallly the folks at OBO and
ICU, however, they are extremely nice and respectable
individuals from my own interactions with them. The
photo was in reference to the IMC, i found it amusing
quite honestly. Who here honestly does not chuckle
every now and then at the constant conspiracy theories
of Zionists, the Catholic Church, FreeMasonry, the
Illuminati, corporate America, and the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day-Saints all in a conspiracy to set
up some one world government and have aliens from
outerspace invade planet earth to enslave the human
race.

When you are silenced in the classroom, media, yes the
media, remember Acton Gordon, he was fired from the
Daily Illini for reprinting the Muhammed cartoons.
Where were the Left who opposes suppression of free
speech during that incident? If groups like AWARE, the
IMC were interested in real free speech than they
would have stood by the OBO as they led a protest
outside of the Daily Illini.

When people are silenced, they tend to overact.
Sometimes inappropriately. If the Left was in the
position that the Right is in on most college campuses
than i think that the Left would act rather rash. Oh,
yeah, the Left already does. Whether its Hollywood
bimbos, academic airheads like Ward Churchill and
Nicholas De Genova who say they want a million
Mogadishus on our troops and call the victims of 9-11,
"little Adolf Eichmanns," The Left has its share of
crazies, want more proof, (I point you to Michelle
Malkins book, Unhinged, Exposing Liberals Gone Wild)

Leave the OBO alone ok, its 6 months ago.
