Pardon me, Carl, but I seem to recall Democracy at least makes an
attempt to figure out what the people **as a whole** want.  The
referenda was voted down, just because no one has support for your
rampant insanity doesn't mean democracy has failed, it means you have
failed to convince anyone.

Quit making democracy all about whether or not Marxism is blindly
accepted by a society that has a modicum of historical knowledge to
see that the ideology is a complete failure.
