  Kind of a funny sort of article to be using as a source.

  The active denial microwave beams, however, are real, and do violate treaties 
against microwave use on the battlefield.  There does seem to be some reason 
for apprehension concerning their use, even though they are tuned specifically 
for riot control.  I've been following their development for about three years 
now.
