I guess I should add, Robert, that Republicans have an mill-
stone around their necks in the form of W and his friends.
Most of them are afraid to admit that the invasion was a mistake
because they fear the effects of admitting error.

This is partly a guy thing, i.e., "real" men do not admit to
mistakes. I only respect men who do admit to mistakes, so
W is out of the running, along with a lot of folks in both the
dominant parties.
