One can read a quite remarkably constructed morality tale entitled  
"Why Germans Supported Hitler" at

It is written by Jacob G. Hornberger, founder of a Libertarian group  
called "The Future of Freedom Foundation", whose mission is stated to  
be:

The mission of The Future of Freedom Foundation is to advance freedom  
by providing an uncompromising moral and economic case for individual  
liberty, free markets, private property, and limited government.

Curiously, Hornberger never makes explicit comparisons to current  
events.
