Dear AWARE:
Champaign County Health Care Consumers has initiated this event on how
the cost of war affects the budget for human needs, which I hope you
will all agree is a very worthy undertaking. They are asking that
AWARE co-sponsor this event. Co-sponsorship in this case means no
expenditure of money, but being listed on promotional materials and
helping get the word out, turnout etc.

How is it that the US continues to have money for war, but not health
care for our veterans or children? On Tuesday March 20, 2007
Champaign County Health Care Consumers will sponsor a Community Study
Session: How does the cost of war affect the budget? to explore this
issue and how the people of the United States can participate in the
budget process.

Budget process and hear from speakers including:
-Joe Miller, Vietnam Veterans Against War
-Claudia Lenhoff, Champaign County Health Care Consumers
